ENGLISH GAME FOR KIDS | ANIMAL QUIZ

Hi Guys, welcome back to aSIX blog!

Because it's been a long time I'm not posting about education, so now, I'd like to share an English game for kids that is really interesting. Actually, this game was made when I studied in the University for completing my final task of Design and Teaching Media subject.

This game is very suitable for teachers or parents who are looking for a game for teaching English to their kids. So the kids will be interested to study English and the important thing is, they'll feel that English is not as boring as they imagine.

Well, this is a quiz game. So kids will see a cute animated animal there, and all that they have to do is just choose the correct name of the animal. But wait, you (teachers or parents) should tell them that they just have three lives which is shown by the heart symbol in the upper right corner. So, they just have two chances to make a mistake or game over.

Here, there are three stages in this game. The first stage is about land animals, then the next stage is about sea animals, and the last stage is about air animals with five questions in each stages. Well, if you think that five questions is to short, you can add it by yourself by editing the content because this game is made by using Microsoft Power Point. I guess all you have known this application well. However, I've to remind you that if you want to edit or add  more questions in this game, you must know well about linking features on Microsoft Power Point because if you don't know about it, the game will error.

How to use it? It's so easy guys. Just play in slide show mode on your Microsoft Power Point or just hit F5 on your keyboard.

Handbook Bahasa Inggris untuk Kelas IX

Assalamuaikum.

Pada postingan pertama di blog baru saya ini (blog yang lama sudah di hapus karena gangguan sistem keamanan) saya ingin membagikan Handbook bahasa Inggris untuk kelas IX SMP/MTs/Sederajat. Sedikit cerita, buku ini dibuat berdasarkan tugas yang diberikan dosen saya tercinta Mam Erna Taufiq saat saya masih suka ngemil bangku kampus (kuliah maksudnya). Saya, lebih tepatnya kami, diberikan tugas untuk membuat sebuah handbook (buku pegangan) untuk guru sekaligus untuk murid. Jadi, guru pegang handbook sendiri, dan murid juga punya handbook sendiri layaknya soal dan kunci jawaban.

Kedua buku ini berjudul "English We Speak" dengan tambahan "for Teacher" untuk pegangan guru, dan "for Student" untuk diberikan kepada murid. Dengan desain dan tampilan menarik yang disertai dengan gambar yang dapat memanjakan mata para murid, buku ini mampu menarik hati para murid yang tadinya tidak suka bahkan enggan untuk belajar bahasa Inggris menjadi suka dan sadar bahwa bahasa Inggris itu tidak se-membosan-kan seperti yang mereka pikirkan selama ini.

Buku ini juga dilengkapi dengan video (bisa di download di akhir postingan ini) untuk menunjang kerja para murid serta dapat meningkatkat listening ability tentunya. Sekedar tips, video-video ini dapat di burn ke dalam VCD agar lebih rapi sehingga dapat disimpan bersama dengan handbook (jika handbooknya di print out). Akan tetapi, jika di tidak mau ribet tinggal download saja dan tinggal play di laptop.
